I’m Sean’s right hand here at UAC. I make sure you and the community have a great space to workout in! I understand how important a good workout is for the body and mind. It’s never too late to workout, and who knows, you might just make a friend here(we’re that cool!).

I’m known as ‘mini beast’. When I’m not helping a member or team member, you’ll see me in the gym powerlifting. I love lifting heavy and aim to compete in 2024. I’ve got a vast knowledge base of mobility training, yoga, strength training; both professionally and personally because I love the human body! And truthfully, it saved my life! I’m not a trainer here, but you’ll find someone here to help you get to where you want to go.

Besides working out and listening to metal, I love playing RPG games. I’m addicted to any game with dragons and magic.

Stephanie - Manager

I understand what it’s like being intimidated by the gym. Feeling lost, not knowing what to do, or how to do it correctly.. because I’ve been there, too. Growing up I had fun being active, whether it was playing sports or joining group exercise classes, at local gyms, in college, and then eventually CrossFit. But I still wanted to learn more, and that’s what led me here- to share my knowledge with others of how empowering health & fitness can be.

I tailor workout programs for each individual's wants and needs. I love to help break down the basics of the weight room, how to move safely and effectively, with correct form, so you can be strong when doing what you love outside of the gym.

During weight training, correct form and range of motion is important to me. So we’ll make sure we dial in technique before we increase weights. Whether we use body weight, free weights, machines, or the barbell; slow and controlled movements are key.

We’ll exercise the full body as well as in each movement pattern, and may even add some cardio exercise to the circuit to keep the heart rate up. Especially with partner or group training sessions; it’s an easy and fun way to get strong with your friends.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions. It would be my pleasure to help you stay accountable while obtaining your health & fitness goals.

Grace

Hello! I’m Grace, it’s so nice to meet you. I believe that fitness is a very personal journey and individual experience. No two bodies move alike, no two people's goals are the same. That's what fuels me to empower and educate my clients to test the waters, push their boundaries, and learn what makes them feel fit. We should train our bodies to function the way we want them to, not function a certain way because we're "stuck" with what we've got.

I enjoy working on strength training, athletic performance, and functional movement. I’ll work with you to learn safe movement patterns and help build knowledge around exercise that will allow you to live and move the way you want. I will collaborate with you to establish your goals and create a program that is effective, challenging and, most importantly, fun.

I have worked with clients through all stages of life, but find particular joy in helping those new to fitness and active agers discover the benefit of strength training. As we age it’s extremely important and more beneficial than ever to work our muscles, train balance, and challenge our functional habits to keep up with daily life. As of January 2024 I am working towards both a Senior Fitness Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification.

I grew up playing soccer and was a climber for 15 years. Outside of the gym I still play soccer, love to bake, and try to distract my dog from eating mud.
